The Sister Margaret Legacy

The Sister Margaret Legacy Society enables donors to make meaningful future gifts by encouraging and recognizing those who are remembering CASA in their wills and trusts.

In your will or trust you can choose to leave (or devise) some or all of your assets to CASA.  In addition to the satisfaction of making a philanthropic bequest, your estate may be allowed a charitable tax deduction for your gift. (Please provide the following information and description to your attorney.)

Possible Wording for Wills or Codicils:

I devise ________________________________to CASA, Community Action Stops Abuse, 1011 First Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL  33705 – a non-profit corporation, located in Pinellas County Florida.

The address above is a physical address for CASA’s administration offices.  CASA’s mailing address is

CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse)
P.O. Box 414
St. Petersburg, FL  33731

Please be sure to use CASA’s complete name, address and tax ID (59-2114359) in any estate planning document or beneficiary designation form to eliminate confusion with other organizations named CASA.

Naming Opportunities

It is possible to memorialize present gifts that support specific CASA facilities and projects by attaching your name, or the name of someone whom you’d like to honor. Many naming opportunities are available at the new 100 bed shelter.
