Events Calendar  -  Beyond the Shelter  -  Thrifty Business
November Wish List  -  Keynote Speakers Announced  -  KaBOOM and the Rays

The Rays Baseball team has joined CASA’s team and the nonprofit KaBOOM! to help survivors of domestic violence and their children. Earlier in the fall we all gathered with residents of CASA’s domestic violence center to design the perfect playground for our facility.

Imagine being a child at the meeting who could vote on what type of slide or jungle gym to include!

Featured Event: CASA Peace Breakfast
December 10, 2015
7:00 am - 8:30 am
St. Petersburg Coliseum

The annual Peace Breakfast is one of CASA's most important and enduring fundraisers. Each year brings you a moving program of hope and inspiration.

These are just a few of the media outlets lauding Meathead movers for their campaign to support survivors of domestic violence, while also being the Small Business Administration's "Business of the Year" and among the fastest growing companies in the country.

In addition to their keynote presentation, Aaron and Erin will provide consultations with businesses willing to pledge to support their local domestic violence prevention shelters in whatever way they can, whether that's with time, money, products, or services.

Read about the Peace Breakfast and the inspiring story of Aaron founding his business.
No one should live life in fear of domestic violence!

If you know someone suffering with domestic violence, please let them know CASA is here to help.

Everyone around here knows that CASA offers a live-in shelter for victims and children of domestic abuse. Most folks also know that the location is held confidential for the safety of our residents and by Florida State Statute. Unfortunately, many locals don’t know that CASA operates CASA Collections Thrift Shoppe right in the middle of downtown St. Pete.

A thrift store for a domestic violence center?

CASA Collections is a resource for shelter participants to get needed items left behind in the rush to escape a dangerous situation.  All other items are sold to fund CASA's programs.
