April 2017 - 380 Bathroom Stalls Against Violence?

April 2017 CASA Newsletter - Click here to view in browser
CASA has partnered with the Tampa Bay Rays on a special domestic violence awareness campaign, where all 380 of their men's and women's bathroom stalls at Tropicana Field now have information on how to get help when experiencing domestic violence.

Through this initiative, up to 2 million Rays fans will learn that our 24-hour hotline is ready to help their loved ones attain a life free from domestic violence!

Flowers are nice, but the right card and a donation to a cause near and dear to her heart expresses how much you truly love her.

This Mother's Day, have CASA send your mother, sister, daughter or other special woman a beautiful Mother's Day card. With a donation of $25 through this link, CASA will personalize and mail her a card in your name. (Deadline: April 28 to guarantee delivery by Mother's Day!)

It's easy and really shows her how much you care!
(Prefer to make a donation in someone's memory or personalize the card yourself? Use the same link to do so.)

CASA is once again partnering with Creative Clay on a FUN event at Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill on May 2nd as part of Give Day Tampa Bay 2017! We'll have prizes, raffle items, drink specials and fun bowling contests at their brand-new mini-bowling lanes! CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE!

Why do we care about volunteers? "Their giving has touched and enriched the lives of our participants, their children and our staff." READ THIS LETTER FROM CASA'S INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Thank you to everyone who supported CASA's "A Good Night's Sleep" Dessert Luncheon and 40th Anniversary Celebration earlier in the month! With your help we raised over $70,000 in profit, all of which will go to help families escaping dangerous homes. Because of you, they will be able to sleep peacefully each night, knowing that tomorrow will be a better day. The official event photos are now online, courtesy of Jim Tizzano Real Estate Photography!

Special thanks to our sponsors, speakers and longtime advocates Wendy Ryan, Main News Anchor of ABC Action News, and Lissette Campos, Director of Community Affairs for WFTS - ABC Action News.
