2016 was an amazing year for CASA. Last July we celebrated the one-year anniversary of our 100-bed domestic violence center’s opening, which provided 32,000 “bed nights” of safety to women, children and men escaping violent homes.
This year CASA celebrates its 40th Anniversary serving southern Pinellas County! Your investments over the past four decades have allowed us to open that new domestic violence center, expand our services and become even more effective protectors of the most vulnerable in our community.
To all our donors, community partners, thrift shoppe supporters, volunteers and staff, we want to extend our grateful thanks and immense appreciation to you for the intense and challenging work you do, for the passion and dedication to bringing safety and peace to others, and for being the caring people you are.
Thank you for keeping survivors of domestic violence in your hearts. We wish you all a happy, prosperous, healthy and safe new year!
Sincerely, Your CASA Family
P.S. Keep checking your inbox and the CASA Facebook page, because we will be announcing exciting news of major initiatives at or near completion over the next weeks and months.
